Requirements
Confirm your PC meets Windows 11 specs: 1GHz+ 64-bit CPU with 2+ cores (Intel 8th Gen+, AMD Zen 2+), 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, UEFI/Secure Boot/TPM 2.0 enabled, DirectX 12 graphics. Download the PC Health Check app if needed to verify compatibility. Disconnect non-essential USB devices during install.
Create Bootable USB
Download the Media Creation Tool from Microsoft’s Windows 11 page and run it on another PC. Select USB flash drive (8GB+), choose language/edition, and let it download files and format the drive. Alternatively, use Rufus for advanced options like bypassing TPM checks on older hardware.
Boot and Install
Insert USB, restart PC, enter UEFI/BIOS (F2/Del/Esc), set USB as first boot device, enable Secure Boot/TPM if needed, save/exit. Boot from USB, select language, click “Install now,” choose “I don’t have a product key” (reactivates later), select edition, accept terms. Delete all partitions on the target drive (usually Drive 0), select unallocated space, click Next/Install.
Post-Install Steps
Complete Out-of-Box Experience (OOBE): set region/keyboard, connect network, sign in with Microsoft account or use Shift+F10 > “OOBE\BYPASSNRO” for local account. Run Windows Update for drivers/patches via Settings > Windows Update. Check Device Manager for issues, reinstall apps/files from backup.
